The first original song I've released under my musical project, Moth Monastery. I learned every step of music production and completed it all myself! Rumor has it, there's a much better version I've remixed and remastered, and should really get around to posting online...
Performance of Etude 2 by Philip Glass on my Launchpad X MIDI controller. I've not seen many people try to play piano/keyboard pieces on a pad controller like this one, and the idea of mastering one midi layout to play a variety of percussion and tonal instruments has been a fascinating route for my musical progress.
Performance of Aruarian Dance by Nujabes for all instruments. One of my earliest pieces with a bunch of instruments going at once!
I did a (more) jazzy arrangement of one of my favorite HipHop instrumentals, Caprice Down by Oddisee. I sequenced the drums ahead of time, then looped in all of the bass and melodic parts on my 8 string guitar. I would love to do more performances and even compositions like this, improvising layers and gradually fitting all the pieces together.
Covered one of my favorite songs from Animals as Leaders, one of their most classically inspired/jazzy tracks for a progressive metal band. This is a tough one, but probably one of their easiest songs to learn, and really got me interested in this chord solo kind of compositional style.
